What Is the Italy Quantus Thermal Remodeling Facial?

Italy Quantus Thermal Remodeling (意大利胶原提升轮廓重塑 – 女神机) is a 90-minute, $398 facial on JH Beauty's menu in Sunnyvale. The menu describes it in one line: it "effectively lifts the face, enhances collagen production, and restores a defined jawline." Those are the studio's stated goals for the treatment rather than measured results, and how much any one person's face changes will vary.

The studio's own FAQ groups Quantus collagen lifting with its other non-invasive anti-aging treatments, and says skin may look slightly flushed for a few hours afterward, that hydration and glow show first, and that firmness builds over several weeks across a series. The menu does not name the exact device model or say which type of energy it uses beyond "thermal remodeling", so if you want those details — or want to compare it with a treatment you have had elsewhere — ask the studio when you book.

This guide explains what heat-based, non-surgical skin tightening can and cannot do according to dermatologists, what to ask before booking, who these treatments tend to suit, and how the Quantus facial sits alongside the other lifting options on JH Beauty's menu.

How Heat-Based Skin Tightening Works in General

"Thermal remodeling" places Quantus in the broad family of heat-based skin-tightening treatments. The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) describes the non-invasive versions of these procedures as ones that leave the skin intact — no puncture wound, incision or raw skin afterward. Dermatologists use ultrasound, radiofrequency or certain lasers to send heat into the skin, and the AAD explains that the heat can cause the body to produce more collagen.

The AAD is also clear about the size of the effect. It puts non-invasive procedures in its "modest tightening and lifting" category and says results tend to appear gradually, so they seem natural. For radiofrequency, it says most people feel some tightening right away, but because it takes time for the body to make collagen, the best results appear in about six months. A surgical lift such as a facelift gives the most dramatic results; non-invasive options trade that for less downtime and lower cost.

These are general statements about categories of treatment, not measurements of the device JH Beauty uses. They are useful for setting expectations: a non-invasive thermal facial is a gradual, modest change, not a substitute for surgery.

What to Expect From a Session

The appointment is booked as 90 minutes. JH Beauty does not publish a step-by-step protocol for it, so rather than guess, here are the questions worth asking when you book:

  • Which device and energy type is used? The menu calls it Italian thermal remodeling; ask what that means in practice.
  • Which areas are treated? Ask whether the session covers the face only or also the jaw and neck, since the menu mentions the jawline.
  • What will it feel like? The AAD says non-invasive tightening may cause some discomfort during the procedure; ask what to expect on this device.
  • How many sessions does the studio suggest for my skin? The studio's FAQ describes firmness building across a series; ask how many visits it has in mind for you and at what spacing.
  • What should I do afterward? Ask for aftercare specific to the treatment.

On downtime, the studio's FAQ says its non-invasive anti-aging treatments, Quantus included, have none, and that skin may look slightly flushed for a few hours. The AAD's general description of non-invasive tightening is similar: some temporary redness and swelling is usually the only sign, and makeup can often be applied immediately afterward.

Results and Number of Sessions

There is no published session plan for this treatment. What the studio says is that hydration and glow show first and that firmness builds over several weeks across a series. The AAD adds that for non-invasive tightening, results appear gradually and are modest, that some people benefit from more than one radiofrequency treatment, and that with the right skin care radiofrequency results can last two to three years.

Because the degree and timing of any change cannot be promised, avoid planning a course around a fixed date, such as an event, on the assumption that a particular result will be visible by then. Ask the studio what it expects for your skin, and judge the treatment after the series it recommends.

Protecting the skin from the sun is part of getting the most from any collagen-focused treatment; the AAD lists sun protection, and never tanning indoors, among the habits of people who get the best results from skin tightening.

Who These Treatments Suit (and Who Should Consider Alternatives)

The AAD says you are likely to get the best results from a non-surgical skin-tightening procedure if you are at a healthy weight and maintain it, eat a healthy diet, do not smoke, drink little alcohol, protect your skin from the sun and never tan indoors, and have a small amount of sagging skin. If you have a lot of sagging skin, it says skin tightening may not be helpful, and a surgical consultation is the place to compare options.

The AAD also says a skin-tightening procedure isn't right for anyone who is pregnant, has a skin infection or takes certain medications. JH Beauty's own guidance is to avoid facials while on isotretinoin (Accutane) and for at least six months after finishing, to stop prescription retinoids about five days beforehand and tell the studio what you use, and to say when you had any Botox or fillers so energy-based treatments can be spaced around them.

A non-invasive thermal treatment does not change bone structure, and it does not add volume. If your main concern is lost volume rather than laxity, read our comparison of filler versus collagen facials, since the two approaches address different problems.

Cost and Other Lifting Options at JH Beauty

A Quantus session at JH Beauty is $398 for 90 minutes. The studio's menu lists other anti-aging treatments on the menu:

  • RF Anti-aging V-Lifting Therapy — $278, 90 minutes; the studio's FAQ calls this the usual entry point for firmness and contour.
  • Plasmas & LDM Top Tech Therapy — $358, 90 minutes; see our plasma and LDM guide.
  • Japanese 6D Luxury Anti-aging Skin Management — $258, 90 minutes.

The anti-aging facials page lists these side by side. To book, use the online menu or call (650) 784-6076; the studio at 525 W Remington Dr, Suite 102, is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:45 am to 8 pm. The booking page states that cancelling or rescheduling at least 24 hours ahead gets a full refund, and that a $50 fee applies within 24 hours.

FAQ: Italy Quantus V-Shape Lifting

Does the V-shape facial change your face shape?

It does not change bone structure or add volume. Dermatologists describe non-invasive heat-based tightening as producing modest, gradual tightening; how much any one person's contour changes varies.

How many Quantus sessions do I need?

There is no published session count. JH Beauty's FAQ says firmness builds over several weeks across a series, so ask the studio how many sessions and what spacing it suggests for your skin.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

The studio's FAQ says there is no downtime and skin may look slightly flushed for a few hours. Follow the aftercare you are given.

How does Quantus compare to a jawline filler?

Filler adds volume; a thermal treatment aims to tighten skin through collagen production and adds no volume. Which suits you depends on whether your concern is lost volume or laxity — our filler versus collagen facial comparison covers the difference. JH Beauty does not offer fillers.
